Pet items, such as pet bowls, chew toys, scratching posts, and pet beds, can simply be marked for sale and sold in the usual manner. Players can mark pet displays for sale to allow customers to purchase pets.
If Open for Business is also installed, Sims can start and run their own pet stores, either as a home business or on an owned community lot.
Sims under normal conditions can only purchase pets and collars. The Sims 2: Pets ships with two premade pet store lots.
